MILWAUKEE & Smart Cities

REFERENCE - SIEMENS - Intelligent Infrastructure / Smart Cities Outline
x

Our main focus will be Intelligent Infrastructure - and One size does NOT fit ALL when it comes to building Smart Cities

1) Each city needs to be viewed as different and unique in order to maximize improvements to its infrastructure

2) A One-size-fits-all, or a Universal Solution that everyone should adopt - is the Wrong Approach.

3) The Platform for Commerce needs to be tailored AND complete in order for a city/ region to offer its best solution to potential corporations and job creators.

4) Smart CitiesSmart grids, and other next-generation concepts must be thought out before big projects are undertaken.  If we are to fund an Infrastructure project or large initiative we must make sure it is viable.

5) Politicians need to get out of the horse-and-buggy days of raising taxes and into the new way of creating revenue streams. ALL-levels of Society should share in the benefits.  High Taxes simply push people "Over the Border".

6) The Sheriff of Nottingham approach to taxing everyone to death is obsolete and has been played out.

Here are reference for today - SIEMENS -- Intelligent Infrastructure
