APRIL 17, 2018
CITY-WIDE MILWAUKEE || Show 66, Public Policy w/Mary Glass & Company focused on Travel.
Ramone Sanders, Milwaukeean, and East Sider shared his 2-month travel to Chile and Peru with his partner, "Emma Jean", Teacher.

Ramone talks about his two-month travel with Emma Jean after her 8-month tour of duty as a teacher of middle and high school students in Chile.  Their 2-month travel was from southern Chile to Lima, Peru.  He shares the sites of volcanos, altitude hiking, view of famous ruins, sacred areas, Inca Indian and Catholic influences. Their travel was during the spring - rainy season and festival times.
Pope Francis was visiting the area during their travel.  The Pope is a favorite son of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ramone reminded us of the peoples unique family values and entrepreneurship in Agriculture.  Chile being more capitalistic than Peru.

Richard Kauper, Architect, Amazing Architecture, gives the first Introduction of Milwaukee Intermodal Center, 433 W. St Paul, Milwaukee, WI  53202.

Richard provided the listeners with a step-by-step location of the Greyhound and Amtrak station.  His first Introduction laid out expectations of service for the citizenry.  He also tied in where the Streetcar station - The Hop is stored.  One key input was the lack of "safety" concern of a 2-inch gap (bogie) between the track and street.

One of the informed notes of Richard's report shared the "lack of humanity" and "disregard for the homeless and those stranded from their home site at the Milwaukee Intermodal Center".  He also spoke of the deployable care of the men's room - and the host chimed in about the four stalls not being functional.

Mary Glass, the host, said: "these are the folks that our federal government has shared millions for the customer care of the citizenry". Allied Security is being used to enforce the 'get-out' = you are not welcome" statement of an Amtrak employee.

Take a listen to these two guests.
