CITY-WIDE MILWAUKEE || On February 26, 2018, the audience of the weekly show of Public Policy w/Mary Glass & Company got an ear-full of relevant, state-of-the-art information for the hands-on issues of two (2) public servants. They were:
- Alderman Tony Zielinski - 14th District (whose running for mayor of the City of Milwaukee)
- Executive Director Shanyell McCloud of Clean Slate Wisconsin.

Highlights
Candidate Tony Zielinski gave a full-throated Opening statement of his commitment to making Milwaukee one of the great cities of the country. His specific platform included:
- Making Central City Milwaukee a Priority
- Improve Community Police Relations
- Safety
- Proactive in Education
- Use Taxpayers money wisely.
He spoke of his Success stories as it relates to the "growth" of the Bay View area for which he represents and his plans to replicate the city's growth.
Expert Shanyell McCloud spoke forthrightly about her organization's work ethics to raise the quality of life and economic development of those who have been impacted by "Incarceration".
Her due diligence is in the neighborhood and street level for access and upgrade. Her organization, Clean Slate is also working hand-and-hand with legislators to make laws that will back the changes needed. One bill has passed its first hurdle recently. It is Senate Bill 53.
We can all work to have the Senate pass this bill with your calls, emails, letters and text messenging - start with Senator Lena Taylor, Senator La Tonya Johnson, Senator Chris Larsen, Senator Tim Carpenter, and Senator Alberta Darling.

Without hesitation, take a listen and spread the word for others to listen and be informed. This was Part I.
