Secretary Paul Jardin - DOC/WEDC
Public Policy Review
Area: Accountability in WI Government
Source: Secretary PAUL JARDIN - Department of Commerce
MILWAUKEE, WI - From time-to-time, MPA Public Policy Review will note/match/contrast, what our elected-appointed-hired-volunteered public servants say with what they do - Code of Conduct - Transparency - Accountability - Best Practice - Customer Care - Due Diligence - TRUSTABILITY
The second in this month's series is: Secretary Paul Jadin, DOC
It is important to note that Secretary Jadin is saying one thing and acting another.
He talks in the videos below, about job development, entrepreneurship, business development, education and innovation. He talks about putting on a lot of miles in the first four months, about Upper North East, Milwaukee 7, his chamber of commerce (Green Bay) partnerships, manufacuturing, corporate businesses, 7.3% unemployment and 26,000 jobs developed already.
The problem is: None of this is relative to the largest city in Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Unemployment in some of Milwaukee census tracts are well above 30%. The stated 26,000 jobs created, they do not really include People of Color. There is no mention of Milwaukee - the place Scott Walker, Governor came from.
Did Scott Walker, Governor, come from Milwaukee County?
Is this the area he CLAIMS knowledge of?
Then, why is Milwaukee being left out?
We will help see that the "public square" is aware of what is going on here - the OPEN FOR BUSINESS pledge is seen as con.
We for sure must inform various outlets so that the balance is there; i.e., CNBC Squawk Box, CEO magazine, Forbes and Kauffman Foundation.
This is the "by design", systemic and infrastructural "discrimination" that has caused decade-after-decade of Enduring Concentrated Poverty - where hidden talent, emerging and submerging markets go lacking to greed, well-made to be connected Caucasian businesses with privilege.
Failure to respond to our inquiries
By the way, Secretary Jadin took over three (3) months to respond to my office INNOVATION interest. He recently responded with symbolism and perfunctory response -contact Seyoum Mengasha if you have questions OR suggestions.
This is the man that Scott Walker said, “He was looking for someone “gifted in balancing both the business world and private sector. . . but also someone with an understanding of how to maneuver through it. . . the political process". “Paul’s one the few people that rally masters both areas.
He is in on the radar for contact, address and change.
