Since Text4baby launched in 2010, we've been reaching moms (and dads, partners, and more!) across the country with important health and safety information. Last week, we reached our (drumroll, please) ONE MILLIONTH MOM! We couldn't have done it without you, our friends, partners, participants, and supporters. Whether you used Text4baby during pregnancy or as a friend or advocate, thank you! We want to celebrate this major milestone with you.
To celebrate reaching 1 million moms, we are hosting a virtual dance party! Here's how you can join in:
- Write a brief note about what Text4baby means to you (why you loved it, what you learned, what partnering with Text4baby means to you, etc.)
- Record a short (10-30 second) video of you dancing. Dance with baby, with friends, with colleagues at your organization, or by yourself. Pick any song, and show your love for Text4baby!
Participants who respond (past and present) will be entered for a chance to win a gift card to Walmart. Anyone who responds (including our wonderful partners!) may be featured in our virtual dance party (on our social media channels and compilation video). Of course, you'll all receive our gratitude! Take Action
April 16-23 is National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW). Our partners at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are encouraging everyone to draw attention to the importance of childhood vaccines by using the hashtag #NIIW on social media and participating in a #VaxQA Twitter chat on April 20th from 4-5 PM ET. The Twitter chat will be hosted by CDC (@CDCgov) and will give parents an opportunity to get expert answers to their questions about childhood vaccines.
