
“The Castle” − a first-hand account of life in prison is at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Zelazo Center, 2419 E. Kenwood Blvd. There is no charge.
This is an off-Broadway production with actors: Angel Ramos, Vilma Ortiz Donovan, Kenneth Harrington and Casimiro Torres.
Hear their first-hand account of the system of incarceration and our after-care for rehabilitation.
“The Castle” is the resident program of The Fortune Society, a nonprofit program in Manhattan that helps men and women adjust to life after incarceration.
This event is co-sponsored by UWM’s Helen Bader School of Social Welfare and UWM’s Peck School of the Arts.
