Dr. Muyskens was clear, concise and philosophical.
He recognized the need for UW-Milwaukee to be involved and working with the people of Milwaukee, 1st and 2nd generation students, students of the K-12 public school and filling the pipeline for a better "urban research" university that is up-and-coming.
He asked the questions that we all must ask in the process, "Where Are We Headed"?
Where are we headed the next 5 - 20 years?
Research - Funding Challenges - Stuff vs value - Moral obligation - undergraduate benefit.
