Today, Public Policy w/Mary Glass & Company Riverwest Radio Talk Show MOVES to MONDAYS.

The first show is an EXCLUSIVE remembering the "Drum Major for Justice" - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We celebrate this brother of humanity who lived, taught and shared his belief in "Perseverance and Integrity".

We have selected two student settings with similar messages of Perseverance and Integrity - his visit to Barratt Junior High ("What is Your Life's Blueprint" - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and Glenview High School ("Rise Up and Say, I am Somebody" - Cleveland, OH).

We add to your viewing a poem he chose to add to each speech by poet-writer Langston Hughes.

Mother To Son
Well, son, I'll tell you:
Life for me ain't been no crystal stair.
It's had tacks in it,
And splinters,
And boards torn up,
And places with no carpet on the floor-
Bare.
But all the time
I'se been a-climbin' on,
And reachin' landin's,
And turnin' corners,
And sometimes goin' in the dark
Where there ain't been no light.
So, boy, don't you turn back.
Don't you set down on the steps.
'Cause you finds it's kinder hard.
Don't you fall now-
For I'se still goin', honey,
I'se still climbin',

And life for me ain't been no crystal stair.
